Biography: B.TAYLOR
B. Taylor is a #1 Billboard Charted multitalented musician, writer, producer, and performer blessed with the ability to play four instruments (the piano, drums, guitar and organ). Taylor, a Peoria IL native, was a decorated sailor in
the U.S. Navy, and he was given a rare early honorary discharge by the Secretary of the Navy to pursue entertainment professionally. He is now the face of music for the US Navy, and is endorsed by top ranking officials
from all four branches of the U.S. Military (Navy, Army, Air Force, and Marines).
B. Taylor was discovered by Motown Legends who named him “the Stevie Wonder of Hip Hop” due to his extraordinary musical talent and he has garnered the support of members of Smokey Robinson & the Miracles, the
Supremes, the Temptations, the Marvelettes, the Vandellas, the Four Tops, the Gordy Family and the iconic Cash Family of country music. Not since Michael Jackson has this many legends of Motown collectively stood behind a
single artist. Additional supporters include top military and political officials and Fortune 500 executives.
Taylor received a Grammy Nomination Consideration at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards in 2012 for his last single "Fire In Your Eyes”, which features NCIS TV star Pauley Perrette. “Fire In Your Eyes” hit the Top 10
Billboard charts for nine weeks, climbing to #1 for two weeks and #2 for four weeks on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip Hop Singles Sales Chart and #4 on the Billboard Hot Singles Sales Chart. B. Taylor previously released the popular

Washington D.C. by the secretary of the Navy and Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) and was selected by the CNO and approved by the white house and President Obama to perform the national anthem at the first ever Carrier
Classic aboard the USS Carl Vinson Aircraft Carrier on Veterans day 11/11/11 televised live on ESPN worldwide.

B. Taylor just released a new record titled “Fiesta” on October 16, 2012 off of his upcoming mix tape “History in the Making”, due out November 5, 2012, including songs produced and mixed by 10 time Grammy Winner Ken Lewis (“Watch the Throne”), Kane Beatz ("Bedrock", "Superbass"), Ademack, Vinay, Suicide, Tiger Stylz, Quest,as well as production from B. Taylor himself.
B. Taylor was recently selected as one of 55 individuals to represent the “Friends of the Navy” program and received an honorary Proclamation Resolution from the Illinois State House of Representatives. Additionally, Sept.24, 2012 was named “B. Taylor Day” in the City of El Paso during Latin Heritage month and B. Taylor was awarded the “Keys to the City” by the Mayor and city council for his extraordinary accomplishments, support for
the city and Latin Community and other philanthropic activities.
B. Taylor is an active philanthropist and is extremely focused on supporting youth education and health in urban communities, as well as military troops and their families. Specifically Taylor donates to and supports the following
charities: Grammy Music Cares for kids, Wounded Warriors, Lied Animal Shelter, Safe Nest for Battered Women,United Way, USO, Unite Me Now (Free Phone Project), and local churches in Nevada and Illinois. Taylor is a brand
ambassador for the Unite Me Now (Free Phone Project), providing free cell phones to qualified low income individuals and families in the US. Taylor recently finished an 18 city tour around the U.S. where he visited schools
(elementary, high school and colleges), military bases and recruiting stations to provide inspirational speeches to the students, troops and recruits. A portion of proceeds from sales of all of B. Taylor's music go to support youth
education through the Grammy MusiCares program and to military troops and their families through the Joining Forces Initiative with the USO, which was spearheaded by Michelle Obama and Jill Biden.
Taylor was also a two sport division 1 college athlete at the University of Missouri and a member of the All Navy
